For the last year, I have been following the Nutritarian Diet proposed by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. This diet looks at micronutrients vs macronutrients. Macronutrients are protein, fats and carbohydrates. Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to function at its highest and best.
GBOMBS
Gbombs is an acronym that stands for Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries and Seeds/Nuts. This is an excellent way to keep track of what one needs to eat in a day to achieve optimal health.
Now, you do not have to stop eating meat to utilize this diet, but it is highly recommended to not eat meat or dairy products. It is also frowned upon to eat processed foods in abundance. This diet is primarily made up of vegetables, fruits and nuts/seeds.
