Hello all my lovlies out there in the big world! Sorry I have been busy with other projects and have not posted in awhile. I am setting up a new plan for the website and videos. Getting organized after such a large move from Norway and getting settled in California has been difficult. The winter was hard for me as I had some health setbacks and I started working again after 4 years. That has taken a bigger toll on my energy levels than I had predicted. Now I am finally getting used to life here in California. Although we will have another big move in December, as we are moving to Napa to be closer to where Liam works and the Unitarian Universalist church. I am just not finding living in Fairfield to be the optimal place for us. So we are looking for another apartment or house to live in. Such excitement!
I will be putting out a schedule of videos that I will be doing over the next few months in my next post. I am in the process of gathering all the information I have collected and sorting it out to be more organized. I know the first video will be on self care, as I truly feel this is one of the areas that sick people need to be better at. Self care is sooooo important, but sometimes we all put ourselves last. I truly believe that to heal we must take excellent care of ourselves. And only we can take care of ourselves in the best way possible.
Part of self care is to find what makes you feel joy or as the very popular Marie Kondo says, that which sparks joy. Something that truly sparks joy in my life is music and dancing. I have made a promise to myself that I will listen to more music and dance if the mood strikes! What brings you joy? Find that one (or if you have many, even better) thing and make a commitment to do that at least once a day.
